Ghirardelli has been a beloved part of San Francisco life since Italian immigrant Domingo Ghirardelli started the company in 1852. The design of the Disney California Adventure Park shop is inspired by the landmark Ghirardelli Square location — which has been beckoning chocolate lovers with its signature lighted sign since the early 1900's.
