Journey to a land filled with tall evergreen trees, roaring rapids, rugged mountains and an adventure around every corner. Grizzly Peak pays homage to the wonders of nature, the majesty of the great outdoors and the pioneering spirit of the men and women who explored California's natural landscape — and sought to preserve its beauty through the creation of the national parks in the early 20th century.!
Splash into the white-water rapids atop the lands namesake mountain, Grizzly Peak, and take a thrilling, spinning plunge on Grizzly River Run. Junior adventurers can earn their Wilderness Explorer badges as they blaze forested paths, march across rope bridges, climb over rocks and zip down suspended slides at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
Attend the Wilderness Explorer Ceremony to watch intrepid young adventurers advance to the level of Senior Wilderness Explorer, but first you must help Russell — from the Disney•Pixar movie Up — find the ceremony. If you keep your eyes open, you might even catch a glimpse of Russell's colorful bird friend Kevin. Check the Entertainment Schedule for the latest shows and performance times.
Gear up for your next trek to the great outdoors at Rushin' River Outfitters with outerwear, T-shirts, hats, ponchos and more.
Just steps away from Grizzly Peak you'll find Napa Rose. The menu at this exceptional restaurant features elegant dishes made from some of the finest ingredients nature has to offer. While Napa Rose features sweeping views of Grizzly Peak, it is located inside Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Don't worry! There is a conveniently located entrance to the hotel so you can get to Napa Rose and return to the park quickly.
