There's plenty of fun to be had in the land of burly bears and Brer Rabbit. Take a ride inside the logs of Splash Mountain — you'll hurtle 5 stories into a pond full of briars! Catch the adventures of a famous critter with a hankerin' for honey on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Or climb into Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes for a paddle around the Rivers of America.

Dining

Check out the fare at The Hungry Bear Restaurant, a peaceful spot surrounded by the beauty of bear country. You can also take care of a smaller appetite at the Critter Country Fruit Cart and Harbour Galley.

Shopping

Need a little souvenir? The critters are selling hats galore at the wonderful woodland store called the Briar Patch. They're also selling plush toys and more at Pooh Corner. And it's a hoot picking up your picture taken on Splash Mountain at Professor Barnaby Owl's Photographic Studio.

History

Previously known as Indian Village and then Bear Country, Critter Country resembles the great American Northwoods, with its towering pines, waterfalls and rustic buildings. Sections of it such as Splash Mountain were inspired by the animated sequences of the 1946 Disney film, Song of the South.
