The Menu

3 kinds of burgers are offered, but don't forget the chicken sandwiches, the pork ribs and the "Supersonic Salad." The child's menu offers chicken breast nuggets, mini burgers and the Kid's POWER Pack with string cheese, nonfat yogurt, sliced apples and whole-grain "fish" crackers.

Test pilots of all ages should leave room for a delicious "Sound Barrier Shake" topped with whipped cream. Budweiser, Bud Light and Karl Strauss Handcrafted Beer are available. Guests must be 21 years or older to consume alcoholic beverages.

Theme

This 1950's hanger-themed restaurant is an authentic quonset hut constructed of corrugated steel. Rocketing out from above the main entrance is a model of a real X-1 rocket plane, the first aircraft to exceed the speed of sound. Take some time to enjoy real pictures and schematics from NASA and the McDonnell Douglas Labs.
