Join Kermit, Miss Piggy and all your Muppet friends for a spectacular performance in 3D.
Make your way onto an expansive soundstage filled with kooky movie-making props—and enter the wild and crazy world of the Muppets! On monitors overhead, watch a zany pre-show presentation starring Gonzo, Rizzo the Rat, Scooter and many more of your Muppet friends as they frantically prepare for the big show.
After receiving 3D glasses, ramble into a lushly appointed theater—designed to look like the Muppet Theater from the classic television series, The Muppet Show—and take a seat before the lights dim.
Meet the Muppets – In 3D!
The curtain rises to reveal Kermit, Miss Piggy and the entire Muppets troupe onscreen in startling 3D, as they invite you on a zany tour of Muppet Labs for a demonstration of their newest, high-tech film process: Muppet*Vision 3D. Things quickly get out of hand, though, during a presentation with Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker, and the result is a seemingly endless string of disastrous—yet hysterical—comic events.
With sidesplitting musical numbers, unexpected in-house effects plus the world’s first computer-generated Muppet, Waldo C. Graphic, this three-dimensional, approximate 13-minute spectacular places you in the middle of all the madcap Muppet antics. Sing along with starlet-ham Miss Piggy, giggle at Fozzie Bear’s gaggle of gags, and clap your hands during Sam the Eagle’s rousing—and explosive—patriotic grand finale.
In addition to the 3D film, the show includes Audio-Animatronics characters and 4D special effects that literally bring the house down around you.
Wave hello to in-theater Muppets—including Statler & Waldorf and the Swedish Chef—and don’t be surprised when child-friendly pranks, like sudden splashes of water, further immerse you in the Muppets’ wacky world.
Muppet*Vision 3D features many of the same characters from the hit television program, The Muppet Show. Created by Jim Henson, the series aired from 1976 to 1981 and was an instant hit with audiences of all ages. The show gave rise to multiple motion pictures and television series, and even won an Emmy® Award.
The current attraction, which puts you in the center of the Muppet madness, is a collaboration between Jim Henson Productions and Walt Disney Imagineering.
