Take in glorious wilderness sights and embark on exciting adventures along the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. You’re free to explore the area in any order you wish, but wherever you go, you’ll find plenty of fun activities that the whole family can enjoy together!

Even the most intrepid explorer occasionally needs directions. Not to worry! The friendly park rangers have placed a map of the entire Redwood Creek Challenge Trail near the trail entrance.
If you’d like to locate a particular attraction, please consult the detailed map before venturing into the woods. You also may receive a paper map to take with you on your outdoor adventure.
If you do need some help, just ask a ranger. They are always happy to point you in the right direction.
Follow clues left by Russell from the Disney•Pixar movie Up, collect badges and become a Senior Wilderness Explorer. Head off into the woods to complete your quest for Wilderness Explorer badges in:
Once you’ve earned all of your badges, proceed to Ahwahnee Camp Circle for a special ceremony. It’s your chance to meet Russell and become a Senior Wilderness Explorer!
Wilderness Explorer Ceremonies take place several times throughout the day. For show times, please check the Entertainment Schedule or the Entertainment Times Guide when you arrive at the park.
Hidden amongst the trees, the Spirit Cave awaits—where brave adventurers uncover their mystical animal spirit. Who knows what the enchanted cave will reveal? You will discover your animal spirit is one of the following noble creatures:
