Drivers, Start Your Engines!

Take the wheel of a gas-powered car and speed your way through a winding track.

Stroll along a winding viewing platform to The Grandstand, home to growling, multi-colored speedsters, and get revved up by fun animated segments starring human-like automobiles on an overhead video screen along the way.

Your Ride
In Autopia, each car has its own personality. The cast of characters includes Suzy the cute coupe, Dusty the off-road vehicle and Sparky the stylish sports car. All cars can seat up to 2 adults or 3 children. After the professional pit crew has matched you with a vehicle and you’ve strapped yourself in, you’re off!

3… 2… 1… GO!
Accelerate at approximately 7 miles per hour in one of 4 picturesque lanes. Feel the wind race across your face as you experience the world through a car’s perspective, thanks to humorous billboards along the track. Glide around sharp bends, past lush foliage, and pick up the pace underneath a small bridge, passing such iconic attractions as Matterhorn Bobsleds in the not-too-far-off distance.

Go for a personal best or race against a family member or friend. In the end, coast back to the pit—champion of the track!

Safety First
Featuring a real-working gas pedal and steering wheel, your race car can easily navigate up and down inclines and around sharp bends just like the real thing. Need a brake? Just take your foot off the accelerator to slow down. As a safeguard, a guide rail is located underneath the vehicle and the car is equipped with front and rear bumpers. Our professional pit crew is also always available to give you a hand.

A True Classic

The Autopia is the only existing Tomorrowland attraction dating back to Opening Day,1955. When the cars first took to the road, they captured America’s fascination with the latest transportation innovation: the “freeway.” Over the years, the roadways and car styles have been periodically updated for this “automobile utopia,” but the fun is still the same.
