A Regal Experience

The boundaries of Fantasyland have expanded!

Stroll across a small stone footbridge to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough and step into an enchanting Bavarian storybook village square—right in the heart of Disneyland Park—where "once upon a time" begins and "happily ever after" happens every day.

In this reimagined land, formerly Carnations Plaza Gardens,

  • Disney fairy tale heroes and heroines are brought to life in live performances.
  • You can shop and savor tasty treats.
  • You may even meet Disney friends from such timeless tales as The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled and Beauty and the Beast.

Designs Drawn from Past and Present
Throughout this charming land, look for inspiration from classic Disney movies like Pinocchio and from contemporary ones like Tangled. Design elements from the existing Fantasyland are also echoed. This blend of past and present is so natural—you may believe this addition was part of the original Disneyland Resort!

Fairy Tale Treasures Shop

This quaint store, nestled between the Royal Theatre and Royal Hall, is filled with costumes, accessories and endless storytelling.

From sashes to shoes, royal dresses to wigs, put together an entire princess wardrobe—from head to toe!

The Secret of the Acorn
Look closely at the sign in the shape of a treasure chest that hangs above this shop’s doorway. Among the bounty of baubles and beads is a hidden acorn.

This tiny item recalls pivotal moments in classic fairy tale films, like Disney masterpieces Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, where woodland creatures help make clothes or dress the main character.

Gold, diamonds, crowns and other riches wouldn’t mean much to these woodland animals. For them, a real treasure would be an acorn. And so, the small acorn became the magnificent motif throughout this shop.

A colorful wooden sign at Fantasy Faire reads, ‘Maurice’s Treats’

Tips on How to Meet Disney Princesses

Start your Disney Princess experience at Fantasy Faire early in the day—or at the nearby Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Mornings may bring slightly shorter lines at Fantasy Faire. Consider early admission options, like Extra Magic Hour (for registered Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests) Magic Mornings at Disneyland Park (for Disneyland Resort Guests with Valid Ticket)

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Or, enjoy access through the priority entrance (and skip the line) to meet and greet the Disney Princesses with the purchase of the Castle Package at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Newly transformed princesses with this package are personally escorted on a mini processional—where the young lady is the star!—from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to the Royal Hall.

Capture the Moment
For an additional fee, Disney PhotoPass Service photographers can capture this enchanting Disney experience.
