Enter the Opera House on Main Street, U.S.A., where you’ll find an all-new gallery experience featuring the evolution of Walt Disney’s dream of Disneyland Park. You’ll also discover another special exhibit, Walt Disney – A Magical Life, where you’ll encounter the story and history of Audio-Animatronics technology, from Walt’s day leading to the advancement of where we are today. After its initial run, “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will play in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.”

Once inside the Opera House, you can view photos, art and artifacts—some never before seen—in The Disney Gallery that show Disneyland before, during and after Walt’s dream became a reality. Walt Disney Imagineering and the Walt Disney Archives have curated relics and memorabilia from the very early stages of Disneyland Park, through the evolution of what Walt’s original park has become today. The Walt Disney Family Museum has loaned more than 30 artifacts to be displayed, including items from Walt's private apartment in Disneyland and some of his humanitarian accolades.

During Walt Disney – A Magical Life, you’ll step inside Walt’s office to experience his heartfelt stories and wisdom through historical recordings and groundbreaking Audio-Animatronics storytelling. Learn about Walt’s inspiration and see firsthand the inner workings of this technology and how far Audio-Animatronics figures have advanced through the years.

Rediscover the Great Emancipator during The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln as he reflects on the trials of the past and inspires hope for the future. The experience begins with an emotional film tracing Lincoln's journey from a modest log cabin to the presidency, followed by a powerful performance where he delivers excerpts from his most iconic speeches.
