Main Street Electrical Parade

An All-Time Disneyland Favorite

Catch this classic nighttime parade―filled with fanciful floats and toe-tappin' tunes― starting January 20, 2017!

With over a half a million twinkling lights, this pageant has enthralled generations of Guests since its debut in 1972.

After a 20 year hiatus from Disneyland Park, the parade's return means that nostalgic fans and newbies alike will get to experience this whimsical procession that glitters and winks in time to the bouncy beat.

A Cast of Unforgettable Characters
At the head of the parade is Engineer Goofy, driving a steaming locomotive that pulls Mickey and Minnie aboard a gigantic bass drum.

Riding fantastic floats and prancing down the street, you'll see endearing denizens of classic Disney tales like:

  • Alice in Wonderland
  • Pinocchio
  • Cinderella
  • Pete's Dragon
  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

In addition to beloved Disney Characters, troupes of light-covered performers pass by during this electrifying parade. The festivities culminate with a salute to America featuring dancers in patriotic dress and a majestic bald eagle fashioned from brilliant golden lights.
