Disneyland Forever

Get ready to be dazzled by a street-to-sky experience that's sure to leave you in awe—it's so much more than a fireworks spectacular!

Halloween Screams

Land a sweet spot near Sleeping Beauty Castle to witness this seasonal spectacular bursting with frightful surprises.

Presented within Disneyland Park, this hauntingly amazing show is an electrifying feature of Mickey's Halloween Party.

Your nocturnal delight kicks off with an eerie greeting from your "Master of Scare-omonies" Jack Skellington and his ghostly dog Zero—spirits from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.

As Jack and Zero fade into the night leaving you to enjoy what's to come, settle in and embrace the jump-worthy collision of sights and sounds—soaring flames, projections of rising ghosts and classic Disney villains like Maleficent and Ursula the Sea Witch—all set to a medley of Halloween-inspired songs… one showstopper after another.

Finally, as you reach the grand finale, there's no need to be shy. Feel free to sing along—or scream along—as you watch sparkling choreography possess the sky.

Please note: This seasonal fireworks show is exclusively for Guests of Mickey's Halloween Party and only takes place on select nights during Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort.

4th of July

Salute the stars and stripes with a special patriotic, pyrotechnic grand finale after the new Disneyland Forever show. Plus, over at Disney California Adventure Park, you can celebrate the United States of America's 239th birthday with an extra burst of color before each performance of the new World of Color – Celebrate! nighttime water spectacular.

If you still can't get enough red, white and blue, live musical entertainment—including stirring military bands—will be performing at the Disneyland Resort throughout the weekend.

The Story of Disneyland Fireworks

Did you know: Disneyland Park has offered a fireworks show every summer since 1956!

When the shows originally began, fireworks fuses were lit by hand. However, by the 1960s, an electronic system launched the shells. Shortly thereafter, the popular entertainment spectacles were carefully synchronized to music too!

By the time the year 2000 arrived, Disneyland fireworks had become far more elaborate—featuring both Tinker Bell and Dumbo flying high overhead.

To reduce noise and pollution, Disney patented an air launch pyrotechnics system—first put to use in 2004—and then later opened the patent on the system so that others could enjoy the benefits of "greener" pyrotechnics.
