Buying Tickets

Find out important information about buying tickets to the Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

When you order your tickets online and select the Disney's eTicket option at checkout, your tickets will be sent to the email address entered during checkout.

  1. Print out the entire PDF file. If you have purchased multiple tickets, be sure to print each Disney's eTicket page.
  2. Present tickets at the theme park entrance turnstiles. You will not need to wait in Will Call or ticket purchase queues.
  3. Once your Disney's eTicket has been scanned and voided, you will receive a standard Disneyland Resort ticket for use during the duration of your visit.

If you are still unable to print your Disney's eTicket, please call the guest services number listed on your email confirmation and provide your confirmation number.

No. The ticket that you print is a valid, legitimate ticket.

Be sure to protect your Disney's eTicket and keep it in a safe place just like any other ticket. The only difference is that you get your ticket faster than other delivery options. Once your valid Disney's eTicket has been scanned and voided at the Disneyland Resort, you will receive a standard Disneyland Resort ticket valid for the duration of your visit.

Parks, attractions or entertainment may change operating hours, close due to refurbishing, capacity, weather or special events; and may otherwise change or be discontinued without notice and without liability.

Yes. However, your tickets become active as soon as you purchase them. The Disneyland Resort is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets so please treat them like you would treat any other ticket.

Each ticket has a unique barcode. Only the first scan of the barcode on your ticket will allow admission to a Disneyland Resort Theme Park. Be sure to protect it and keep it in a safe place just like any other ticket. If more than one copy of a Disney's eTicket were to be used, the barcode scanner will alert the Cast Member that the ticket has already been scanned and admission may be denied.

Don't worry! If, in the rare instance, you do not receive your Disney's eTicket, or you are unable to print, or you forget to bring your ticket, please visit any Disneyland Resort Box Office to have your tickets re-issued.

Be sure to bring:

  • The credit card used to purchase your tickets (For security reasons, only the Guest whose name appears on the original credit card will be able to pick up replacement tickets.)
  • A photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport
  • A printed copy of your Order Confirmation

Theme park tickets may be used on different dates depending on the type of ticket and when they were purchased.

1-Day Peak

If you have a 1-Day Peak Ticket, you may use it on any day until the ticket expires.

1-Day Regular Ticket

If you have a 1-Day Regular Ticket, you may use it until it expires, except on the following days:

  • March 24 to 31, 2017
  • April 1 to 16, 2017
  • April 21 to 23, 2017
  • May 26 to 29, 2017
  • June 30, 2017
  • July 1 to 4, 2017
  • July 7 to 9, 2017
  • July 14 to 16, 2017
  • July 21 to 23, 2017
  • July 28 to 30, 2017
  • August 4 to 6, 2017
  • September 1 to 4, 2017

1-Day Value Ticket

If you have a 1-Day Value Ticket, you may use it until it expires, except on the following days:

  • March 3 to 5, 2017
  • March 10 to 31, 2017
  • April 1 to 23, 2017
  • April 28 to 30, 2017
  • May 5 to 7, 2017
  • May 12 to 14, 2017
  • May 19 to 21, 2017
  • May 26 to 31, 2017
  • June 1 to 30, 2017
  • July 1 to 31, 2017
  • August 1 to 20, 2017
  • August 25 to 27, 2017
  • September 1 to 4, 2017
  • September 8 to 10, 2017
  • September 15 to 17, 2017
  • September 22 to 24, 2017
  • September 29 to 30, 2017

Multi-Day Ticket

Multi-day tickets have different entitlements and validity dates. Please check the details of a particular multi-day ticket at time of purchase.

Upgrading Tickets

Have your plans changed and you now wish to visit a theme park on a day that your 1-day ticket is not valid? No problem! You are able to upgrade your ticket at any Disneyland Resort Guest Relations location.

Additional Information

The amount paid for an unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.

Validity dates will continue to be published from time to time. The dates assigned to each season and the number of days in each season may change from year to year.

Unless otherwise stated, tickets are not valid for separately priced activities or events. No credit or refund will be given if a higher season ticket is used on a lower season date. Admission is subject to capacity closures and to other restrictions.

Purchasing Tickets

Yes. If it is within 14 days of a theme park ticket's first use and the ticket has remaining admissions, you are able to upgrade the ticket. If it is more than 14 days after first use or if no admissions remain, then a ticket may not be modified or upgraded.

Upgrades may include:

  • Upgrading a 1-Day Value Ticket to a Regular or Peak Ticket
  • Adding days
  • Adding the Park Hopper Option
  • Upgrading to an Annual Passport

Where to Upgrade Tickets

Ticket upgrades must be made in person at the following locations at the Disneyland Resort:

Tickets are nonrefundable and may not be downgraded to a ticket with less entitlements.
