Whether you're a first-time visitor or have visited many times, this information will give you an advantage in enjoying your Disneyland Resort visit.


  • Wait times for some of our most popular attractions are posted in the Central Plaza of Disneyland Park to assist with planning your day.
  • Take advantage of Disney FASTPASS® Service to minimize your wait on some of our most popular attractions (refer to Park guide maps for instructions).
  • Consider visiting the following attractions early in the day, during parade time or right before Park closing to minimize your wait time:

  • Disneyland Park
    • Disney FASTPASS attractions: Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain
    • Non- FASTPASS attractions: Peter Pan's Flight, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
    Disney California Adventure Park

  • Beat the crowds and consider the following alternate viewing locations for popular entertainment offerings:

  • Disneyland Park
    • Fireworks - in front of "it's a small world"
    Disney California Adventure Park
    • Parade - In front of the Golden Vine Winery or across from the Pacific Wharf
  • If your group is waiting to view a parade on Main Street, U.S.A., you may want to take turns catching a quick movie in the Main Street Cinema while you wait.


  • Obtain reservations for some of our most popular dining locations — including Goofy's Kitchen, Napa Rose, Blue Bayou, Ariel's Grotto and the Plaza Inn (for breakfast) — by calling the Disney Dine Line at 1 (714) 781-DINE or 1 (714) 781-3463† up to 60 days in advance.
  • When dining in the Parks, eat outside normal meal times to beat the rush. Avoid 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for lunch and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for dinner.
  • Consider dining at the Resort Hotels for lunch or dinner, where it's less busy than the Parks:
    • Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa: White Water Snacks
    • The Disneyland Hotel: Goofy's Kitchen, Steakhouse 55
    • Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa: Storyteller's Café, Napa Rose
    • Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel: Disney's PCH Grill


  • Beat the evening rush and shop early in the day and store your purchases for free at one of the Resort Package Check locations.
  • Shop during parade or fireworks times, when the stores are at their least busy.
  • See and shop for the unique merchandise available during Disneyland Resort special events — and get event information — at
  • Be eco-minded and choose to use reusable merchandise bags, available at select locations throughout the Disneyland Resort
  • Customize your very own Mickey ears hat in just a few easy steps at Gag Factory in Mickey's Toontown and Main Street Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A. Add patches, a special theme and your name!
  • Leaving for home but you forgot to pick up a souvenir? Call Merchandise Guest Services to make your purchase at locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. Just call 1 (800) 362-4533† for help.

Disneyland Resort Hotels

  • Get a jump start on your day with Magic Morning entry into select attractions at a designated Theme Park each day during your stay (on select days) with valid admission.
  • Purchase your Theme Park tickets at your Hotel's front desk and avoid Park ticket booth lines.
  • Check your bags at the Bell Desk if you arrive before your check-in time so that you are free to enjoy the Resort. Contact the Bell Desk upon your return to have your bags delivered to your room. Have Resort purchases delivered to your room.
  • As Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa Guests, you have your own entrance into Disney California Adventure Park.
  • Licensed child care service is available in your room for an additional charge.
  • During the middle of the day, you can easily return to your rooms for a quick break or a swim when the Parks are at their busiest.
  • Disneyland Resort Hotels have Express Check-out to make your departure simple and hassle-free.

Foreign-Language Assistance

  • Foreign guide maps for both Theme Parks are available in the following languages at the entrance to each Park: Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, French and German.
  • Inquire at your Disneyland Resort Hotel Front Desk or Guest Services about foreign-language assistance.

For Parents

  • Baby Care Centers are located in each Park. Check your Park guide map for locations. Baby food and other essentials can be found in these locations.
  • Have an appointed meeting place and time in the event that your group gets separated.
  • Park maps include all height restriction information on your list of Favorite attractions.
  • Set a meeting time to reunite with teenagers who wish to go off and explore on their own.
  • Lost parents (or children) can be located at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Pick up snacks, activities and drinks for use during waits in line.
  • If you need to rent a stroller, rental locations are conveniently located near the entrance to the Parks. Please remember that wagons or pull vehicles of any kind are not allowed within the Resort.


  • Call 1 (714) 781-DINE or 1 (714) 781-3463† to pre-order a special birthday cake to cap off your celebration at participating restaurants at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort.
  • Hotel Guests can have rooms decorated for any special celebration: birthdays, a new baby, an anniversary and much more! Just call 1 (714) 300-7526† for details.


  • Consider purchasing a multi-day ticket or an Annual Pass so that you have plenty of time to see everything. Both provide Park-hopping options, allowing you to visit both Parks on the same day.
  • Guests should consider taking guided tours. It's more than likely you'll learn something new!
  • Guests with mobility or hearing disabilities have many services at their disposable. Download and print the Guide for Guests with Disabilities.
  • Use Disney's PhotoPass service for free while in the Parks to capture trip memories — without having to tote around camera equipment. (Moms, you'll ensure no one is left out of photos.) It's like having your own personal photography staff! Then, order albums, photo CDs, mugs and other products bearing your images.
