For classic steakhouse fare or a delicious breakfast in an upscale setting, visit this Disneyland Hotel restaurant.
Named for the year that Disneyland Park opened, Steakhouse 55 takes you back to a bygone era of decadence, when attentive service and lavish steaks were the order of the day—every day.
Dine in a dimly lit, well-appointed space replete with dark-wood furnishings, black-and-white photos of movie and music luminaries of the era, including Walt Disney, and an impressive wine cellar. The private Oak Room can be reserved for parties of up to 24 Guests.
Dining with Distinction
Steakhouse 55 was awarded four stars by the Orange County Register and a Golden Bacchus by the Southern California Restaurant Writers Association. Zagat describes the restaurant as “amazing,” “a gem,” “elegant” and “the best rib eye in town.”
Marvel at the generous marbling of our premium beef, ensuring exceptional flavors and tenderness in each juicy bite.
The bone-in rib eye seasoned with signature “Steakhouse 55” rub is the specialty of the house, though we also feature all your favorite cuts: From an 8-ounce filet mignon to the 20-ounce porterhouse. Add some Hollywood glamour by going Oscar-style or topping your steak with béarnaise, peppercorn sauce or even “Steakhouse 55” butter.
Coldwater lobster tail, prime rib, pan-roasted double chicken breast and fava bean & rye crusted king salmon are among our other entrée selections. Make it a meal to remember with à la carte sides like the “loaded” baked potato, sautéed French green beans and truffled macaroni & cheese. A prix fixe menu of 3 courses—including braised short rib bourguignon—affords a more casual steak dinner, while a children’s menu features healthy Mickey Check meals.
To complement your meal, our expert sommeliers can assist Guests 21 and over in selecting the perfect wine. You may even have the opportunity to enter the wine cellar and taste several vintages!
Finally, finish in grand style with the signature 24-layer chocolate cake—a sinful concoction of chocolate sponge cake, milk and dark chocolates, and Nutella. Enlist the help of your entourage if you have to! Other dessert choices include vanilla bean crème brulée and warm apple butter cake.
Please note: Steakhouse 55 is not open for lunch. All menu items are subject to change without notice.
For snacks and libations, this intimate, old school-style watering hole can’t be beat—no reservations needed.
Start your day in a winning way with breakfast and enjoy freshly made brunch fare in an unhurried style.
Bask in the same sophisticated ambience but this time by the light of day as you sup on “Sunrise Rhapsodies” like New York steak and eggs, eggs Benedict or the build-your-own omelette. “Steakhouse 55 Struttin’ Selections” will please sweet tooths with French toast or the buttermilk pancake stack, while “South-of-the-Border Serenades” spice up your morning with heuvos rancheros and the Sunrise burrito.
“Healthful Harmonies” hit the right note for those looking to keep it light and include an egg-white omelette, smoked salmon and bagel, hot and cold cereals, and fresh fruit. Complete your meal with “All That Jazz”: specialty coffees, teas and fruit juices. A children’s menu is also offered, with choices like Mickey-shaped pancakes and the Jr. Scramble.
With over a decade in the kitchens of the Disneyland Resort, Chef Marcel St. Pierre never cooks and tells. Instead, he lets his food speak for itself while striving for authenticity and sincerity in his culinary style.
After growing up in a family-owned restaurant in Danbury, Connecticut, Chef Marcel received an education at the Culinary Institute of America before moving on to a selection of notable restaurants, and eventually the restaurants of the Disneyland Resort—including Club 33.
And now, he’s bringing his experience to lucky Guests at Steakhouse 55. As Chef Marcel says, “The possibilities are limitless when it comes to flavors, textures, presentation, procedures, balance and combining and complementing ingredients. How can I impress every sense?”
Advance reservations for all dining experiences at Steakhouse 55 are highly recommended. For booking, please check availability and make your reservations online, or call (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463. Reservations can also be made in person on a limited basis, subject to availability.
