Fuel up for the big day ahead of you with fresh-squeezed juices, coffee, baked goods and hot breakfast items at the La Brea Bakery Express, or take a seat on the heated patio for a casual table-service experience amidst the bustle of the Downtown Disney District. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the café features a menu that blends classic favorites with new creations inspired by founding chef Nancy Silverton.
Breakfast fare includes double-dipped brioche French toast, omelets served with country potatoes and toasted La Brea Bakery bread, a smoked salmon platter and Croque Madame sandwich, as well as light and healthy choices like steel-cut oatmeal and fresh fruit.
Signature Sandwiches, Salads and More
For lunch, it’s all about the fresh-baked-daily breads that made La Brea Bakery a household name. Try the signature Caprese on a French demi-baguette, Sicilian tuna on olive bread or delicious grilled panini like smoked ham and Gruyère—or keep it traditional with a BLT or all-American cheeseburger. Fresh-made flatbreads featuring La Brea Bakery’s signature pizza dough include pepperoni and mushroom, speck ham and pineapple, Margherita and more.
Guests with gluten concerns still have plenty to choose from with freshly tossed salads like the Greek, Caesar, Niçoise, Nancy’s famous chopped Italian or the star-studded California salad, made with sun-dried tomatoes, dried apricots, goat cheese, candied walnuts and white balsamic.
Dinner selections include rosemary-herb chicken, Italian sausage pasta, New York steak and seared salmon. Pair your meal with a selection from our wine and beer menu for a most enjoyable evening.

Now with an exhibition bakery, redesigned décor and more, La Brea Bakery Café offers a heightened sensory experience. Watch chefs in action in the newly added open kitchen, where a state-of-the-art wood-stone oven cranks out focaccia, artisanal flatbreads, baked pastas and, of course, La Brea Bakery’s fresh pastries and breads. Look for all-new menu items as well as the return of many house favorites.
Also part of the expansion and upgrades: a new express kitchen and counter-service area with fresh food displays, a dining space awash in welcoming earth tones, and awning-covered outdoor seating with ceiling heaters, fans and newly planted shade trees, all enhancing your comfort and convenience like never before.
About Founding Chef Nancy Silverton
Renowned chef Nancy Silverton opened the first La Brea Bakery in 1989 and then went on to win the prestigious James Beard award for “Pastry Chef of the Year” in 1990. Since then, La Brea Bakery breads have set the standard for artisanal breads throughout the country.
