Entering Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Reservations are no longer necessary to enter Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, but on certain days Guests may be required to join a virtual queuing system.

The virtual queuing system is not a physical line, so you can enjoy the rest of the Disneyland Resort until it is your turn to enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

After entering Disneyland Park, you can request to join the virtual queuing system and will be assigned a boarding group, either with the Disneyland app or at select locations within the park.

Once your boarding group is called, you have 2 hours to enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. There is no time limit to enjoy Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge after you have entered the land, other than the operating hours of Disneyland Park.

You can check the app and in-park signs to see which boarding group is currently being admitted to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. If you miss your boarding group time, you will need to join the virtual queuing system again to be assigned a new boarding group.

Admission into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is subject to capacity. Being assigned to a boarding group does not guarantee entrance to the land, its attractions or its experiences.

Important Steps to Be Ready Before Your Visit

Follow these steps now to be sure you’re ready to join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance when you visit Disneyland Park.

Link All Park Tickets
For the best experience, it is important that you link all park tickets and Annual Passports to your Disney account as soon as possible.

Here’s how to link tickets:

  1. Open the Disneyland app
  2. Tap on the bottom, left tab with the home icon
  3. Tap “My Tickets”
  4. Tap “Link Tickets & Passes” (if not visible, tap the “+” icon on the top of the screen)
  5. Link the ticket for every person in your party

Please link all tickets for your party to one Disney account and use a single phone to join the virtual queue. If multiple people in your party join the virtual queue on separate phones, you will likely be assigned to different boarding groups.

Some tickets cannot be linked until after you enter the park. Please link these tickets as soon as you enter the park.

If you purchased your tickets with the Disneyland app, they may already be linked.
