Update on Disneyland Resort Operations

 

Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, the Downtown Disney District and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa are now open with enhanced health and safety measures in place. Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel will plan to reopen on June 15, 2021 with reduced capacity. The Disneyland Hotel will plan to reopen on July 2, 2021 with reduced capacity.

Additionally, all Guests are required to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance through a new theme park reservation system. To enter a park, both a theme park reservation and a valid admission ticket, for the same park on the same date, are required for all Guests (aged 3 and older). Capacity and theme park reservations are limited, and reservations are subject to availability. Until further notice, only California residents may visit the parks, and in groups no larger than 3 households, per state guidelines. Proof of residency may be required.

Until June 15, 2021, only California residents may visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks in groups no larger than 3 households. Proof of residency may be required. The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks. As always, our procedures may change as we continue to update our health and safety processes based on guidance from the state of California and local health officials. If planning to travel, please check and follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations and any State travel advisories.

Certain parks, hotels, restaurants, attractions, experiences and other offerings are modified or unavailable, have limited capacity and are subject to limited availability or even closure, and park admission and offerings are not guaranteed.

We will provide more information as it becomes available. We reserve the right to cancel any reservations, admission media or purchases, and provide applicable refunds. Please also see our policies regarding modifications and cancellations by Guests.

We continue to keep the well-being of our Guests and Cast Members our top priority and have taken enhanced health and safety measures based on guidance from health authorities and appropriate government agencies, including temperature screenings and required face coverings. Face coverings are required for all Guests (aged 2 and older) and Cast Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing. Guests are reminded to practise physical distancing, not touch their face, frequently wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer. Disney reserves the right to require a Guest to leave if they are (i) not properly wearing an approved face covering, (ii) using profanity or offensive language toward our Cast Members or other Guests and/or (iii) violating any other Park Rules. We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our other Guests and our Cast Members. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting the Disneyland Resort.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting the Disneyland Resort, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Modifications and Cancellations

Annual Passports

Annual Passholders have been among our most loyal and valued Guests, and we want to thank them for their understanding during this closure period.

Due to the continued uncertainty of the pandemic and limitations around the reopening of our California theme parks, we will be issuing appropriate refunds for eligible Disneyland Resort Annual Passports and sunsetting the current Annual Passport program. Please visit Disneyland.com/PassportRefund for refund information.

Although sunsetting the Annual Passport program may be disappointing to some, we are excited about what's ahead and know that our future is bright. We are developing new membership offerings that will utilize consumer insights to deliver choice, flexibility and value for our biggest fans. Once we have more information to share about future membership offerings, our Annual Passholders will be the first to hear from us.

Annual Passholders who held active Passports as of March 14, 2020 will continue to receive applicable discounts based on their passport type for merchandise and food and beverages at selected locations until the new membership offerings are announced. View important details and restrictions.

We encourage our Annual Passholders to stay connected with the Disneyland Annual Passholders' Facebook page as we plan to continue our Annual Passport communication and digital content with special opportunities to come, until new membership offerings are announced.

We are working as diligently and as quickly as possible to expedite eligible pro-rata refunds for Annual Passports. We appreciate our Annual Passholders' patience and understanding as we work through this process. Please visit Disneyland.com/PassportRefund for more information.

Disney Premier Passholders:

We will be issuing appropriate refunds on eligible Disneyland Resort Annual Passports, and sunsetting the current Annual Passport program—including the Disney Premier Passport—due to the continued uncertainty of the pandemic and limitations around the reopening of our California theme parks.

In addition to receiving applicable Passport discounts on merchandise and food and beverages at selected locations at the Disneyland Resort until new membership offerings are announced, Premier Passholders will be eligible to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park access and V.I.PASSHOLDER Perks through to March 31, 2021, and their passes will be cancelled thereafter. Please note, advance Disney Park Pass reservations are required for park entry. Premier Passholders will also be able to renew into Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes until April 30, 2021.
