Experiencing Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

There may be times when Guests may be required to join a virtual queue to experience the new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction.

The virtual queue is not a physical line, so you can enjoy the rest of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Disneyland Park until it is your turn to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

After entering Disneyland Park, you can request to join the virtual queue and will be assigned a boarding group, either with the Disneyland app or at select locations within the park.

Guests may join the virtual queue starting at the published opening time for the day at Disneyland Park. Guests may be assigned to a “backup” boarding group. Backup boarding groups are only called if all previous boarding groups have been called and there is extra capacity for additional Guests.

You will be able to join one boarding group per day.

You can check the app and in-park signs to see which boarding group is currently being admitted to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Admission into Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is subject to capacity. Being assigned to a boarding group does not guarantee entrance to the attraction.

Reservations for Experiences

Due to the popularity of Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers, Oga's Cantina and Droid Depot, reservations are highly recommended.

Reservations for Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers, Oga's Cantina and Droid Depot can be made up to 60 days in advance.

To make reservations, please use the Disneyland app or visit the page for each experience:

Separate Disneyland Park admission is also required. Reservations are nontransferable and may not be sold or bartered.

Important Steps to Be Ready Before Your Visit

Follow these steps now to be sure you’re ready to join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance when you visit Disneyland Park.

Link All Park Tickets
For the best experience, it is important that you link all park tickets and Annual Passports to your Disney account as soon as possible.

Here’s how to link tickets:

  1. Open the Disneyland app
  2. Tap on the bottom, left tab with the home icon
  3. Tap “My Tickets”
  4. Tap “Link Tickets & Passes” (if not visible, tap the “+” icon on the top of the screen)
  5. Link the ticket for every person in your party

Please link all tickets for your party to one Disney account and use a single phone to join the virtual queue. If multiple people in your party join the virtual queue on separate phones, you will likely be assigned to different boarding groups.

Some tickets cannot be linked until after you enter the park. Please link these tickets as soon as you enter the park.

If you purchased your tickets with the Disneyland app, they may already be linked.
