Every Step Counts
The CHOC Walk in the Park is more than a 5K stroll through Disneyland Park―it's a lively community celebration! On Sunday, October 30, the Walk gives participants the opportunity to support an extraordinary organization and provides a place for young patients to share their stories.
Since 1964, CHOC has provided the best available care to our community's children. Your ongoing support helps ensure that children in need will receive medical care, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
Walking Strong for 26 Years
For over a quarter of a century, CHOC Walk in the Park has raised more than $26 million to help support care, services, education and research for children undergoing medical treatment and their families.
Last year, the Annual Passholders team of 748 participants raised more than $119,000. Gather together and show your boundless Annual Passholder spirit again this year!
A Walk with Character
As a participant in the 2016 CHOC Walk in the Park, you will enjoy a family-friendly walk of just over 3 miles that winds through Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District. Along the way, you’ll have unique photo opportunities as some favorite Disney friends pose for pictures and wave you on.
After you cross the finish line, the celebration continues in the Downtown Disney District where event sponsors, shops and restaurants have special offers for participants who present their event wristbands.
Because this year’s event occurs on Halloween weekend, kids and adults are invited to show some extra spirit by dressing up in costume during the Walk.
Please note that Guests ages 14 and older are not permitted to wear costumes in the theme parks after the Walk has concluded and may need to change attire in order to re-enter the theme parks.
All Walk participants and their Guests wishing to wear costumes must follow these guidelines:

- Long costumes, such as full-length princess dresses, may not reach or drag on the ground.
- Costumes may not contain sharp or pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
- Costumes may not include any weapon-like props that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
Permitted for participants ages 13 and younger:
- Masks are allowed as long the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.
Permitted for participants ages 14 and older:
- Capes no longer than waist length.
- Themed T-Shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats.
- Accessories such as transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords and tutus.
