A view of Grizzly Peak and The Hollywood Tower Hotel in Disney California Adventure Park
The Disney California Adventure land known as Grizzly Peak has more grandeur for visitors to explore.  Grizzly Peak Airfield (formerly Condor Flats) extends a new look and feel inspired by the magnificent Sierra Nevada mountains of California. With a renovated quick-service eatery, camping-themed merchandise location, refurbished signature attraction and majestic pine forest setting, this reimagined landscape offers the nostalgia of a National Parks family road trip in the late 1950s or early ’60s. Imagine piling into the family station wagon as you create enduring memories together and relive the era of the open road!

Grizzly Peak Airfield

Touch down in this beautifully wooded area, where an airstrip, Mt. Muir Lookout ranger tower, highway signage and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa recreate the ambience of a mountain resort town. Quench your thirst and hunger at the Smokejumpers Grill, an inviting, outdoor-themed restaurant that takes its inspiration from the brave men and women who fight wildfires in our California forests. Offering hearty favorites like the Bacon Cheddar Burger, Grilled Chicken & Jack Sandwich and Chili Cheeseburger, and featuring an aerial firefighting and great outdoors theme, this revamped quick-service location (formerly Taste Pilots’ Grill) now features additional seating as well.

Humphrey’s Service & Supplies

Receive a warm small-town welcome at Humphrey's Service & Supplies, the unofficial community headquarters of Grizzly Peak. The shop is an homage to the kind of gas station/general store you might find on a road trip through the Sierra Nevada mountains in the late 1950s and early ’60s. Locals claim this “vacationer’s paradise” is inspired by Humphrey the Bear, the scruffy, snack-loving star of several Disney animated shorts from the ’50s, and it is the ideal place to forage for outdoor essentials like fleeces, hats, lanterns, thermoses—and all the “bear” necessities of a family trip!

Soarin’ Over California

This longtime Guest favorite has recently been visually enhanced with a new domed screen and video projection system, so you can enjoy the magnificence of the Golden State with greater clarity than ever before! Get ready for high-flying adventure as you glide far above the clouds, oceans and mountains of California, then swoop low to experience the stunning sights, sounds, sweeping vistas—and smells!—of ocean surf, redwood forests and citrus-scented orchards.
