Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa boasts 3 pools in a continuing effort to provide Guests with the ultimate vacation experience. Explore the distinct beauty of each—the Fountain, Redwood and Mariposa pools—while spending quality time with family and friends.

With its artisan-crafted turtle fountain, the Fountain Pool provides a relaxing respite amid a serene rural setting. Located next to Storytellers Cafe, the pool is set against a backdrop of tree-laden grounds, stone walls and rocky boulders—a perfect place for Guests looking to set up camp and unwind before or after a fun-filled visit at the parks.

Pool hours, slide operating times and lifeguard availability vary by pool and weather conditions and are subject to change.

Delivering thrills and spills, the Redwood Pool includes a 90-foot-long waterslide that curves around the giant stump of a Redwood tree. Zip down this wet and wild slide—bordered by picturesque pine trees and boulders—and splash down into a cool pool at the bottom.

A Mickey Mouse-shaped Children’s Pool and a whirlpool hot tub are located nearby.

Retreat to this circular leisure pool that pays homage to the hotel’s Arts and Crafts theme. Named after the Spanish word for “butterfly,” the Mariposa Pool features ornate butterflies and decorative lights in the pool deck area, reflecting the natural beauty and tranquility of the pool’s rustic surroundings. A whirlpool spa is located nearby.

In addition, private poolside cabanas—promising a serene sanctuary for your senses—are available to rent throughout the day.

• You must wear a wristband to utilize the pools and other amenities on the pool deck.
• Wristbands are only given to those staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
• To receive your daily wristband, please visit the Pool Concierge on the pool deck.
• Pool towels will be available for you on the pool deck. Please do not bring room towels to the pool.

• To provide equal access for all Guests, seating is limited to one lounge chair per Guest; reserving chairs is not permitted.
• We highly recommend that small children wear life jackets while in the water. Complimentary life jackets are available (while supplies last) on the pool deck, but they must be returned after use.
• You are welcome to come and go from your chair as you enjoy the pool area. However, if belongings are left unattended for more than 45 minutes, they will be removed and stored at the Pool Concierge stand or at the hotel's “Lost & Found.” At the end of the day, all unclaimed items will be sent to the “Lost & Found.”
• Upon arrival, please check for the most up-to-date list of policies.
• Swim diapers are available upon request.

• Snorkels, fins, inner tubes without a bottom, kickboards, large flotation devices without net seats, mesh rings (except for infants), dive toys, needle inflated balls and water guns

• Alcoholic drinks purchased outside the Disneyland Resort
• Ice chests and coolers 

• This pool area is equipped with a pool lift to assist Guests transferring in and out of the water.
• Guests must be able to be transported from the chair into the lift unassisted or with the assistance of a member of their travel party.
