Disney California Adventure Park invites you to Plaza de la Familia, an immersive event at Paradise Gardens Park that honors enduring family bonds in the spirit of Disney and Pixar’s popular animated adventure, Coco.

Plaza de la Familia features stirring song-and-dance performances, Mariachi music, a special photo opportunity with Miguel from Coco and an iconic Tree of Life experience. Make the day even more delightful by sharing a mouthwatering Mexican meal.

A Musical Celebration of Coco

Witness a heartwarming show filled with spirited music and dance.

Watch songs from Disney and Pixar’s Coco come to life through enchanting performances by the Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia, singer/storyteller Mateo, a folklórico dance ensemble, the GRAMMY® Award-winning Mariachi Divas and traditional tunes sure to touch the heart during this moving salute to family. Miguel even makes a whimsical cameo in an appearance inspired by Mexican folk art.

A Seasoned Feast

Savor the flavors of hearty fare, and don’t forget to save room for the sweetest of treats!

Taste buds need tempting? Sample delicious Mexican dishes from the special event menu at Paradise Garden Grill. There’s an option to please every palate, including tacos, tamales and totally decadent desserts. Quench your thirst with hibiscus-flavored Jamaica slush or Mexican hot chocolate served in a souvenir mug.

Lasting Family Memories

Enjoy a special photo opportunity with Miguel—and celebrate loved ones at the Tree of Life.

Between performances, you’re invited to meet and take pictures with the beloved hero of Coco beside a beautiful artistic mural entitled “Recuérdame” (“Remember Me”).

Named for the iconic song from the film, the evocative mural depicts the themes touched on by the Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia and celebrates Miguel’s family in Santa Cecilia and the Land of the Dead.

Also, be sure to stop by the Árbol de la Vida, or Tree of Life—an iconic photo location where Guests can write down poignant remembrances of loved ones to display on the nearby wall of memories.
