Available at select theater-type attractions, this innovative technology utilizes a light-emitting diode (LED display) to project desired captions onto an acrylic panel in front of the user. To utilize the system, please contact a Cast Member at the location.

The Disneyland Resort provides Sign Language interpretation for our Guests at specific live theme park shows on a rotating basis as follows:
For a list of Sign Language interpreted performances, please download the current schedule or request information via email. You may also call (714) 781-4636 (select option 1, and then option 0) for further details. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.
You may pick up a schedule of Sign Language interpreted performances at any Disneyland Resort Guest Relations locations. Please note that the schedule is released approximately one week in advance.
Special Requests for Interpretation
Sign Language interpretation is available by request for select special events with at least 14 days advance notice. Call (714) 781-4636 (select option 1, and then option 0). Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.
If Sign Language interpretation is available for the requested event, we will contact you prior to your visit with a schedule of the names, dates and times of the interpreted performances.
Pay phones marked with a Text Typewriter (TTY) symbol are available in Downtown Disney District and by request in select rooms at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. All Disneyland Resort telephones can be amplified with the "#" key or by using a separate volume button on the phone.
This portable captioning system uses a wireless handheld receiver to display text in locations where fixed captioning systems are impractical, such as moving attractions. Receivers are available through Guest Relations and require a $25.00 refundable deposit. You must return the device on the same day for a refund.

Caption-ready monitors are available in the preshow area at select attractions. These monitors are designated by a "CC" and can only be activated by remote control. Please see a Cast Member at the attraction for assistance.

Packets containing attraction dialogue and narration, flashlight, pencil and paper are available for several attractions and shows. Please inquire about availability prior to experiencing an attraction or show. A complete listing of available written aids is available at the Information Center located in each park.
Trained service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Cast Members are not able to take control of the service animal. Guests with service animals should follow the same attraction entrance procedures as Guests using wheelchairs.
Service Animal Restrictions: Due to the nature of some attractions, service animals may not be permitted to ride. At these locations, please inquire with a Cast Member about available options including a Rider Switch with a member of your party or a portable kennel.
