Sink your teeth into a memorable opening scene—appetizers like Fire Cracker Duck Wings, Ceviche of “Blue Cobia” or an order of our house biscuits, fried and stuffed with white cheddar, bacon and jalapeño and served with apricot honey butter. In the mood for a “matinée”? Enjoy some of the same entrées featured at dinner or indulge in deluxe, lunch-only choices, including the Carthay Angus Burger—topped with cheddar cheese, pepper bacon and grilled onions, and served with a side of French fries and house-made pickles.
Dinner offers a touch of drama, with dishes that take center stage. Top billing goes to the Crisp Duck Confit with chestnut gnocchi, Herb-Crusted Lamb Scaloppini, and the Carthay Shellfish Cioppino with royal shrimp, black mussels, Manila clams and snow crab claws. Pint-sized palates are sure to say “bravo” to crispy chicken tacos, grilled petit filet of beef, orecchiette pasta and the fresh catch of the day.
Seasonal desserts include sweet sensations like the Tahitian vanilla bean crème brûlée tart, dark chocolate mousse bar, warm dulce de leche marshmallow turnover and delectable Diamond Celebration truffles—a treat 60 years in the making!

Carthay Circle Restaurant occupies the second floor of a detailed reproduction of the iconic Carthay Circle Theatre. The original Carthay Circle Theatre, built in 1926, played a significant role in the life of Walt Disney. His first feature-length film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, premiered there in 1937 and, in 1941, groundbreaking stereophonic Fantasound was installed in the theatre for the West Coast premiere of Disney’s Fantasia.
Carthay Circle Restaurant’s decor reflects the romance and glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age, including references to the accomplishments of Walt Disney and his original animators. See Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Courvoisier cels—the only animated art ever to hang in Walt Disney’s home—and charming pastoral scenes from the movie painted on the vaulted ceiling of the main dining room. Seating is also available on 2 open-air terraces for dining with a view.

The dimly lit, elegantly appointed Carthay Circle Lounge is found on the first floor, serving swanky signature cocktails, craft beer, California wines, seltzer sodas and a full bar. For a libation unlike any other, try the Carthay Martini, made with Hendrick’s gin and bleu cheese-stuffed truffle olives, all kept perfectly chilled with an ice sphere made from locally sourced purified water. Ask to see how it’s made and prepare to be astonished! Each of the handcrafted cocktails at the Carthay Circle Lounge is served in unique glassware with ices designed to complement the drink in question. Walt’s drink of choice, the Scotch Mist, is also on the menu.
Our signature bar bites are so inspired you’ll want an encore—sample the Vietnamese twice-cooked beef tacos, queso fundido, tostaditas with mole verde-braised pork or the lobster pad Thai imperial roll.
No grand finale would be complete without dessert—ice cream macaron sandwiches and Diamond Celebration truffles are just a few of the stars taking a bow.
