Feast on authentic fare at a quick-service venue that’s big on charm and heaping helpings of down-home hospitality. Make your menu selections inside then proceed to the garden patio, where Guests can dine al fresco under shady awnings and verdant ferns while watching the Mark Twain Riverboat paddle down Rivers of America. Laissez les bon temps rouler—let the good times roll!
Hit the spot with hearty Cajun and Creole cuisine served all-day long—meatloaf, red beans and rice with Andouille sausage, jambalaya and our signature roasted half chicken with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Sink your teeth into a French dip sandwich with house-made Cajun chips; lighter choices include the New Orleans salad and Royal Street chicken Caesar salad.
French Market soups—like our slow-roasted Louisiana beef stew or creamy corn chowder—are served in sourdough boules for a mouthwatering meal any time of day. Little gentlemen and southern belles-to-be will love our kids’ menu, complete with eats for the pint-sized set. Don’t forget to save room for sinfully delicious desserts that would make Scarlett O’Hara weak in the knees!
All menu items are subject to change without notice.
The Mint Julep Bar
Nestled within our patio, the Mint Julep Bar serves nonalcoholic versions of this traditional southern mint drink. Hot, fresh Mickey-shaped beignets are another must-try and pair up perfectly with a cup of coffee. Or simply sit back, relax and take in the view with a refreshing cold fountain beverage.
Listen to the swingin’ sounds of the Royal Street Bachelors and celebrate one of New Orleans Square’s oldest traditions. Though the lineup has changed slightly over the years, this talented jazz trio has been a mainstay of New Orleans Square ever since the land first opened in 1966.
Watch Herb Gordy and the boys take the patio stage at the French Market restaurant, where they perform 15-minute sets throughout the day. (Check the Times Guide for show times). With the smooth jazz and blues grooves of the Royal Street Bachelors and good ol’ southern cooking, the illusion you’re in the Big Easy is complete!
