Eat, Sort, Scrap and Recycle!

Food is energy, not waste—and when we share our scraps, the world’s a happier place! Help the Disneyland Resort reach a zero-waste-to-landfill goal by participating in the Food Scraps program. Food scraps collected at the Resort are given a second life and transformed into nutrition-rich feed amendment for farm animals, including dairy cows. Food scraps are anything you could eat but didn’t finish—no wrappers, please.

Place your leftover food in the green “Food Only” cans with the diamond opening, available at the following locations:

Disneyland ParkDisney California Adventure Park

Across the Resort, use the blue recycling bins with the Saturn-shaped opening to throw away plastic, paper or glass waste. Any non-food items that are not recyclable go into the gray landfill cans. Confused about how to sort your waste? Ask a Cast Member for help.

Bottle-Filling Stations

Save plastic by reusing your water bottle. Find bottle-filling stations across the Disneyland Resort.
