Parking

There are various parking locations at the theme parks and hotels of the Disneyland Resort, as well as the Downtown Disney District.

Theme Park Parking

Upon arrival at the Disneyland Resort area, please follow the signs to one of the combined parking areas for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

Preferred Parking at Mickey & Friends Parking Structure

You may opt to park in designated Preferred Parking areas, which are closer to escalators and elevators. Purchase Preferred Parking upon arrival at the Mickey & Friends parking structure and then follow Cast Members who will appropriately direct you to where you may park.

If you’ve already purchased prepaid parking, or have an Annual Passport that includes parking, you may pay the difference to upgrade to Preferred Parking for the day at any parking structure booth, subject to availability.

Operating Hours
Parking structures for the theme parks open one hour prior to the published and scheduled Disneyland Park opening time. On days featuring Magic Morning Early Admission , the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure opens 90 minutes before the published Disneyland Park opening time.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
ChargePoint charging ports can be found in the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure. To use a port, you’ll need to scan a ChargePoint card.

Theme Park Disability Parking

There are designated parking spaces for Guests with disabilities at Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and the Toy Story parking area. A valid disability parking placard or license plate is required and standard parking rates will apply. Follow signs or ask a parking Cast Member for directions to disability parking. Transportation from these parking areas to the Main Entrance is provided.

Wheelchair and ECV Accessibility on Disneyland Resort Transportation
Buses and trams are able to accommodate some types of wheelchairs and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs), and wheelchair lift-equipped vans are available to transport Guests between the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and the Downtown Disney District, close to theme park entrances.

On all Disneyland Resort transportation, wheelchairs and ECVs must fit easily, without being forced, on lifts, ramps and into designated wheelchair spaces. Once inside the vehicle, wheelchairs and ECVs must be securely fastened via restraints.

Please note: Larger wheelchairs, ECVs and scooters may not fit on some modes of Disneyland Resort transportation and may not be accommodated.

Recreational and Oversized Vehicles

The height limit of the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure is 13'10".

When visiting the theme parks, any recreational vehicle (RV) or other oversized vehicle should use the main entrance to the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, located south of the Disneyland Drive and Ball Road intersection.

Downtown Disney District Parking

Hours and Rates

Enjoy 3 hours of parking when you make a $20 minimum purchase and receive validation from any Downtown Disney location (including quick-service restaurants, merchandise locations and kiosks)—or up to 5 hours of parking with validation from any Downtown Disney table-service restaurant or AMC Theatres movie experience.

Beyond these validations, each additional hour costs $12, charged in 30-minute increments, with a minimum $6 charge after the initial 15-minute grace period. Additionally, the maximum daily parking and lost ticket fee is $48. Parking is subject to capacity.

Downtown Disney Disabilities Parking
Guests with valid disability placards or license plates may park in any available disability marked stall in either the Downtown Disney District North Lot near the Rainforest Café, or in the Simba Lot near Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, subject to space availability. Standard parking rates will apply.

Hotel Parking

For an additional fee, the hotels of the Disneyland Resort offer self-parking and valet service for registered hotel Guests. Follow the signs directly to your destination; do not park in the theme park lot.

Rates For Hotel Guests

  • Self-parking: $20 per night per vehicle
  • Oversized vehicle parking: $25 per night per vehicle
  • Valet parking: $30 per night per vehicle

Rates For Guests Visiting a Disneyland Resort Hotel Restaurant or Spa

Non-registered Guests wishing to join us for breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of our hotel restaurants or enjoy spa services, will receive:

Parking for Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District is not permitted.

Standard Rates:

  • Self-parking: $20 for the first hour plus $10 per hour, per vehicle with a maximum rate of $60
  • Oversized vehicle parking: $25 for the first hour plus $10 per hour, per vehicle with a maximum rate of $60
  • Valet parking: $30 for the first hour plus $10 per hour, per vehicle with a maximum rate of $100

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations 

ChargePoint charging ports are located in the Fantasy Self-Parking Lot of the Disneyland Hotel and on the ground floor of the Paradise Pier Hotel Self-Park Parking Structure. To use a port, you’ll need to scan a ChargePoint card. 

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Guests with electric vehicles may use charging ports based on availability. If you would like to reserve one, let the valet attendant know upon arrival. Valet charges apply.

Guest Drop-Off and Pick-Up Areas

Need to drop off or pick up Guests visiting Disneyland Resort theme parks or the Downtown Disney District? There are 2 areas you can use:

  • Downtown Disney District – Take Magic Way from Disneyland Drive, then turn south toward Downtown Disney District parking and follow signs to the drop-off area. Standard parking rates will apply after the 15-minute grace period.
  • Harbor Boulevard – Enter the drop-off area from the right southbound lane of Harbor Boulevard between Manchester Avenue and Disney Way.

These areas may also be used for taxi and ride share service pick up and drop off. Please note that while brief waiting is permitted, parking and unattended vehicles are not allowed in either area.
