Types of Services

Audio Description devices, Braille guidebooks and stationary Braille maps are available to help Guests with visual disabilities at the Disneyland Resort. Audio Description

The Disneyland Resort offers Audio Description through Disney's Handheld Device, which provides supplemental audio information and narration at specific attractions and outdoor locations via an interactive audio menu.

Receivers are available through Guest Relations and require a $25.00 refundable deposit. You must return the device on the same day for a refund.

Audio Description is available for the following locations:

Braille Guidebooks

Braille Guidebooks are available for each theme park and include attraction, restaurant and store descriptions. A limited number of Braille Guidebooks are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis at Guest Relations and require a $25.00 refundable deposit (refundable when returned on the same day). 

Service Animals

Trained service animals are welcome in most locations throughout the Disneyland Resort; however, all service animals must remain on a leash or harness at all times. Learn more about service animals at the Disneyland Resort.
