Make a Furry Friend

Meet and greet a bonanza of animals at the only petting zoo at the Disneyland Resort.

Pet, brush and feed barnyard creatures at this expansive, outdoor petting zoo, inspired by the western ranches of the 1880s. Featuring a small wooden ranch house and petting barnyard, Big Thunder Ranch is the perfect place for young cowpokes to share in a hands-on encounter with goats, horses, sheep, donkeys and pigs.

The ranch has even served as home to the Thanksgiving turkeys pardoned by the President of the United States, and even a holiday reindeer. You just never know who’ll be visiting the Big Thunder Ranch, so be sure to stop by for a visit.

Keeping Clean
Guests are encouraged to cleanse their hands before and after making contact with the animals at the washbasin located next to the petting zoo.
