Soon after you arrive to the planet Batuu, you’ll be able to transform the Play Disney Parks app into your Star Wars: Datapad—designed to guide you deeper and deeper into an adventure in a galaxy far, far away.

Whether you’re interacting with droids, scanning crates or tuning into transmissions, the Play Disney Parks app will be a vital tool when it comes to living your own Star Wars story!

Once you activate the Star Wars: Datapad, you’ll find many tools at your disposal for exploring the planet Batuu:

• Translate a variety of languages from across the galaxy—including Aurebesh signs throughout Black Spire Outpost.
• Scan objects all around the spaceport to discover precious cargo—including items hidden inside space-shipping crates and containers.
• Tune into communications sent by the planet’s many residents as you tap into and decrypt signals from satellite dishes.
• Use the Star Wars: Datapad to hack into—and interact with—select devices, control panels and droids.

As the Star Wars: Datapad guides you along, you’ll have the chance to pledge your loyalty to the First Order, support the Resistance, or strike out on your own as a scoundrel. And with each task you complete, you can collect digital rewards in return—like ship schematics, star maps, galactic credits and more!

Throughout Black Spire Outpost, the First Order is trying to install bugs in door panels to spy on the Resistance!

Using the Star Wars: Datapad, join your fellow travellers to Batuu and choose to support either side as they vie for a hold on the land. Winners may even find themselves rewarded with galactic credits for their efforts!

Choose a side and help your faction in the battle between the Resistance and the First Order. Join the recruit line at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and take on jobs that support your cause.

Resistance supporters guide Finn through a First Order Star Destroyer, free his captured team members from the detention cell, reprogram droids onboard the ship and wipe the Star Destroyer's databanks of Resistance intelligence.

First Order loyalists infiltrate the recruit line and use their datapads to collect intelligence on Resistance movements and supplies, report intercepted transmissions and plant tracking devices—so the First Order can intercept the Resistance on their way to their base elsewhere in the galaxy.

While waiting to board the most famous ship in the galaxy at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, you can even take on a job for Hondo Ohnaka—the pirate turned “legitimate” businessman who operates Ohnaka Transport Solutions out of Black Spire Outpost.
